Put some tubes on those RT3000p, then forget about the LSi25 and be done with it!

Your current system is one of the best HT systems that money can buy, even considering their age, but, the Polk Subs you mention aren't as good as the subs currently in your 3000s. If you really want ultra low sub output, look elsewhere. SVS, HSU, Onix, and Outlaw are all better choices IMO.
Adding better power to your system will make the center and surrounds perform much better. 150-200 wpc will do nicely.
If going to the Lsi for your speaker of choice is the direction, you need to sell the entire Rti system and retool for high power Lsi sound. Lsi 15, Lsi/FX and LsiC with the 200 wpc will give you HT that will rival your 3000s and many think better music production as the Lsi line is a more accurrate speaker.
Actually making the switch from RTi to Lsi is more like switching brands than simply upgrading. The tonal qualities are quite a bit different.
It sounds like you really have an ugrade bug, but are looking for a place to begin. Better amp, and better sub make a great start and the most $$$ sense. If $$$ is of no concern, then try the Lsi line.
Oh yeah, I like tubes in the mix also.:DHT Optoma HD25 LV on 80" DIY Screen, Anthem MRX 300 Receiver, Pioneer Elite BDP 51FD Polk CS350LS, Polk SDA1C, Polk FX300, Polk RT55, Dual EBS Adire Shiva 320watt tuned to 17hz, ICs-DIY Twisted Prs, Speaker-Raymond Cable

thanks for the info, i can get the subs and LSi super cheap. I can get the psw505's for $300 for the pair and $290 for the LSi F/X pair, so it's a super good deal! so knowing that should i forget the LSi and subs?RECEIVER---- H&K AVR 335

Personally, I don't think either of those are good 'upgrade' choices.
I don't think you'll gain much by going to the 505 sub from Polk. I'd say either stick with what you have now and save until you can afford to really upgrade that sub.
I don't think the LSi will match well at all, not even being uses as rears or sides.
I'd take all that money you're thinking about spending on new surrounds and subs and invest in a good 2 channel amp to help drive those RT3000 -

As Zero already pointed out, even though the RT3000P does not need a lot of power, they still benefit from more and better of it. Put some tubes on them and I think they will amaze you on music listening. A tube pre or maybe a Jolida hybrid integrated.
As Zero has also pointed out, the LSi/RTi series don't match, so instead of getting a pair of LSif/x surrounds, why not just get maybe fx500i or fx300i for rear surrounds? It would be a lot cheaper, and besides, another set of fx1000 back there would be waaaay overkill.
Plus another thing to consider, the subs on the LSi25 can't hold a candle to the RT3000P's subs, PSW505s either for that matter as DG pointed out. -
Ok so would the $1000 i have budgeted be beter spent on three OutLaw Model 200 M-Block Amplifier one for each front and center to add with the avr335?
or should i get a preamp and amps later?
i would like to add to my system now to help with more power, i tryed the H&K dpr 2005 and did not like the sound at all with the RT5000 system
or any other seuggestion on what model/brand i would be best with.
any help thanks

For just a little more than $1000, you could get the following Jolida hybrids http://unitedhomeproducts.com/id100.htm and still use your HK as a movie pre/pro for them. Either the 2 and 3 channel models for 5.1, or just the 2 channel model for your mains.
I can't praise these Jolida hybrids enough. I have a pair of NHT T6, rated Class A by Stereophile, and with the 100 watt Jolida hybrid integrated driving them, the Polk RT3000P IMO will give the T6 a SERIOUS run for the money. They sound a lot more alike than different.
If you can, try to audition them. The Outlaws are nice, they are basically the exact same amps which power the woofers in my NHT T6 set, but IMO, they can't hold a candle to the Jolida hybrids.
