Ok guys, ive taken a break after the last go around .. been reading here and there. Ive got some things on the horizon and need to sell some of my prize possesions...

I got this off the board, so i'll try and resell it here.. paid 425.00 shipped from i cant remember who sorry...

$400.00 shipped, comes with manual, power cord, double original boxes.. only blemish is the face plate bottom front left is slighty pushed back from shipping i assume.. It was this way when i bought it.. I can provide pictures if need be..

205 x 2 @ 8ohms... and 315 x2 @ 4 ohms i think

pretty firm on price

That amp is brutal! Tons of clean power. I used to own one exactly like it.;)

A great deal on it, too. Somebody grab it quick.

Boy I really wanted to. But seeing that I'm saving for an ASL, I went with Warlock's AMC to drive my SDA 2Bs til I can get the tubes. Man I really wanted this amp, $400 would have set me back too far for a temporary amp. DAMNIT, that thing would likely have 250 wpc or so @ 6 ohms.

I might be interested for my dad's system.

Getting an est. on install today. Might get Rti 10's so this might work well with it....too well...

Good luck with sale I'll keep this in mind if it doesn't get sold before I figure things out.

Firstly, I apologize to hijack this thread.

I am thinking about buying a couple of these and bridge them to drive my Carver AL-III's. These Carvers are rated 4 ohms but many reports saying they are more like running at 2.6ohms - 3 ohms most of the time and can drop to 2ohms. From the HCA-1200II's user manual, it warns not to run < 4 ohms at high volume for extended period when in bridged mode. Otherwise, it can overheat. Of course, it doesn't really quantify how high and how long period which brings up my question. Any of the previous, current, future owners know whether this amp really has any issue with low impedance in bridged mode? Any suggestion to any high current alternative amps?

    Thanks,

    -fredv-
