Have You Retired a Flag Recently?

I went out to Boy Scout Summer Camp today, it was family night. I unfortunatly do not have pictures, but beleive me when I say it, it's beautiful.
We had a bonfire and all the parents and scouts were around, (I'm still in limbo on my status, no I'm not a parent) and we started a respectful flag retirement ceremony. We cut the Blue from the bars and burn the flag in quiet. It was a nice ceremony.

There's one take at it, and a pretty good guideline, although I beleive there is no standard.
