Is that from one of those old Quad 8-track players from the early 70s Troy?

You need to get ahold of the Quad Dark Side of the Moon LP- now that is an experience...

The Shaft soundtrack isn't too bad in quad either :D

"You're just a couple of George Grand wannabe's."

It is sometimes difficult setting the standard.

Hey, I have a copy of the Quad DSOTM! :-) German pressing IIRC. Completely different mix than the stereo. Different posters, too. Bought it, somewhat unwittingly, in the mid/late-1970's at the long-defunct "Gordon Miller Records" in Towson, MD.

Actually, the LP is at my father's house... he loves it!

The Dynaquad adaptor is essentially the precursor (no more and no less) to Dolby ProLogic. AFAIK, the only wrinkle ProLogic added was some 'smart' way to ride gain on the ambience channel(s). But I am no expert on surround, real or imagined.

    Good to see you, George!

    Hi Marko!

Easily the most underrated, underused, UNKNOWN, bang for the buck product in the history of audio. The Dynaco Quadaptor.

Not at all, I'm cleaning house and so forth.

Talking about gear that others have so graciously turned me on to just doesn't seem to be worth the static at times.
