    Better him than me.
Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service.

Well the 2 oldest castmembers of the original series are gone. We should retain the others for a few more years since they are only in their mid to early 70's.

Without the original ST the legend that it has become would never have happened.

    I will miss them both.:(

it's kind of like losing John Lennon and then George Harrison.. but not exactly. With only two remaining Beatles left. it's pretty sad.

Read another article about the man today. Didn't know before that he was an artilleryman in WWII and was shot six times during the D-Day invasion, one bullet taking off the middle finger on his right hand. Guess that means he had to flip Shatner the bird with his left hand instead.

    GODSPEED Scottie!

I met James Doohan as a teenager, very nice man with a ton of kids. I actually got to sit and talk to him one-on-one for about 20 minutes. I never liked Star Trek much, but meeting him was neat.

If it weren't for Scottie and McCoy, I would have never watched ST. They stole the show,IMO.

To me, Scotty and Bones were the 2 most interesting characters. And now the 2 actors who made those wonderful characters came to life are gone.

    :( RIP Mr. Doohan
