    Ha! Thats cool as hell!

I wonder why nobody has ever come out with this. I thought even back in the 70's that the Death Star looked like it had a speaker in it!

This would probably sound good too as a round enclosure is ideal.

Maybe if John Williams had this it would have helped him with the music for this new trilogy that is blander than a slice of Wonder bread.

Hey there was that one song from that one scene in.........okay maybe not....

Seriously, the music for the main fight scene in Episode 1 was cool at the time, been grossly bastardized and overdone/overused since...

I really liked 'Battle of the Hero's' in episode 3. But you are right, overall the music sucked compared to the OT.

The dude who won needs to pick up a box of Crispix and send in for the R2-D2 snack bowl offer. I saw a Darth Vader cup holder and a light saber remote someplace too but I can't remember where. It was probably one of those junk mail order catalogs that seem to start showing up in droves around Christmas time.

Yeah, you could put bowl full of crap with STAR WARS written with sprinkles on ebay and you'd get a minimum of 100,000 views.

His idea has inspired me a bit...I'm thinking of making a DIY R2-D2 downward firing sub. I'm working through the plans. The wife has already axed the idea of it being in the living room, but it would be a nice addition to my crappy 2 channel rig in my garage.

I say GO FOR IT!!! What a great conversation piece, especially if it sounds decent. :D

That is a good idea also.
I think either one, or even both, would be a great additions to a home theater.
The death star hanging from the ceiling and r2d2 in the corner would give you a wide range of base or at least stereo subs..
