Hardball was a pretty good movie. While one could say that it was based on Bad News Bears, I don't think it is....it copied The Mighty Ducks more than it copied BNB. It was about a group of kids who taught their teacher more than the teacher taught them...minus the bad acting, I enjoyed the movie.

Another question about this: Why do actors take these roles? Why would Billy Bob Thorton take a role that starred the late Walter Mathau? Isn't that just like pissing on his grave?

Who's going to see the new Superman in the theater?

I probably will, I said I wasn't going to watch the new Batman, but I morphed into a sheeple and saw it. I'll do the same for Superman.
