I'am seeing spots

there are dark and yellowish looking spot on my sony
kf-60we610 what wrong with it can it be fixed

    I got it in may of last year so i think the sony warrenty is out but i bought a 5 year extened warrenty should that cover it, and what do you think the problem is

    Those extended warranties are a rip off most of the time but if you actually need it its invaluable.

    All you have to do is call the number and they should send a tech to your house and fix it for you. At least thats the way the warranty on my Sony from Circuit City worked.

    no not yet anyway its more like the pixels are burning out. as a mater of fact iam not even sure if it has pixel i guess its more like the crystals are burning out were the service people able to help you polk thug:eek:

    I used to work at Circuit City. We had this issue with the 610 models when we first started carrying them. Even told not to sell them until a work around was found. Sony sent a guy from Japan to take one of our demo models back with him. Problem was with the amount of time the fan would run after the tv turned off. It would stop to soon and the bulb was cracking. Extended warranty should cover it. Jeff
