WOW what a fun stage to watch today. The best so far IMHO. I won't spoil it for you but watch it on OLN today if you can.

Sunday's stage is looking to be the hardest of the Tour. I think if the there is a big time gap in GC after Sunday we will have a winner of the Tour, but you never know.

Great photo shots of the mountains and roads and castles.

An amazing human specimen for sure. My brother used to ride with him in his earlier years on some of the Bikemart runs they do here. Funny thing, he can't say a nice thing about him. Apparently he's a bigtime arse. Comes across nice enough on TV though.

Lance changed after cancer. If you read his book "It's Not About the Bike", he admits he was an **** back then and not a very smart or consistant bike rider.

It shows me that change is possible and that with enough desire you can do anything you can imagine.

    Texans are cool!

He lives in Austin and that city is HUGE about cycling. Temple, TX is my adopted home town and its not far at all from Austin so I hung out there a lot. There are about 50 bike shops in that one city!

that reminds me of an email i got:

Once upon a time in the kingdom of Heaven, God was missing for six
    days.
    >>
    >>Eventually, Michael the Archangel found him, resting on the seventh
    day.
    >>
    >>He inquired of God. "Where have you been?"
    >>
    >>God sighed a deep sigh of satisfaction and proudly pointed downwards
    >>through the clouds, "Look, Michael. Look what I've made."
    >>
    >>Archangel Michael looked puzzled and said, "What is it?"
    >>
    >>"It's a planet," replied God, "and I've put Life on it. I'm going to
    >>call it Earth and it's going to be a great place of balance."
    >>
    >>"Balance?" Inquired Michael, still confused.
    >>
    >>God explained, pointing to different parts of earth. "For example,
    >>northern Europe will be a place of great opportunity and wealth but
    >>cold and harsh while southern Europe is going to be poor but sunny and
    >>pleasant. "I have made some lands abundant in water and other lands
    >>parched deserts. This one will be extremely hot and while this one
    will
    >>be very cold and covered in ice."
    >>
    >>The Archangel, impressed by God's work, then pointed to a land mass
    and
    >>said "What's that one?"
    >>
    >>"Ah," said God. "That's TEXAS -- the most glorious place on earth.
    >>
    >>There are beautiful beaches, streams, hills, and forests. The people
    >>from TEXAS are going to be handsome, modest, intelligent and humorous
    >>and they are going to be found traveling the world. They will be
    >>extremely sociable, hardworking and high achieving, and they will be
    >>known throughout the world as diplomats and carriers of peace."
    >>
    >>Michael gasped in wonder and admiration but then proclaimed, "What
    >>about balance, God? You said there would be balance!"
    >>
    >>God replied wisely, "Wait until you see the idiots I put in AUSTIN."

    Thats hilarious!

Actually Id stay further away from Waco. Talk about wackos!

Youve got murders and shootings on every block and youve got your rich trust fund Baylor babies and thats about it.

I still like Austin. One hell of a cool **** city. Its the only other place I would live.

I just can't believe someone doesn't get a "joke" with smiley's and then has the "brains" to call them a moron. I am so glad I'll be competing with these people for the job market for the next 30 yrs. Unfortunately, I might have to hire some of them...

    ;)

Since you didn't get it, and I'll assume you are just uneducated on life in general. Here's a term:

    "Everything's better/bigger in Texas"

If you are from that state, it's a badge of honor and true in the mind of a true Texan. To everyone else, it's a tongue in cheek rip on the same state.

So I am to assume everytime your an **** your joking right? Geez, I'm 28 and now I feel old... :(
