You have a beautiful system there Steve. The room looks excellent too. Do you feel the room acoustics works well with your gear?

One day, perhaps when I get married, I'll have a neat rig like yours. Whenever I look at my rig, I can't help but think of how ugly it looks. Nothing matches and damn wires are everywhere.

Clay tiles, tightens up the bass a little not having them directly on the carpet.

    Thank you.
The room is real good, no where near as much echo as I had in the last house, plus the wall behind the system is an external wall, so it's fully insulated---which helps alot. Having 2 couchs in the room also helps with early reflections.

There is no genuine justice in any scheme of feeding and coddling the loafer whose only ponderable energies are devoted wholly to reproduction. Nine-tenths of the rights he bellows for are really privileges and he does nothing to deserve them. We not only acquired a vast population of morons, we have inculcated all morons, old or young, with the doctrine that the decent and industrious people of the country are bound to support them for all time.-Menkin

Cool! Will that work with the RTi speakers since they have spikes as well?

    Steve,

Why not have the spikes go through the carpet so they sit directly on the sub floor (concrete I assume)?

Yep, slab construction; but reason 2 is that it also raises the speakers about 2" higher.

Awesome! I agree with you about having couches. We got some new stuff upstairs so one of the old couch had to go down in my rig and that extra couch helped a little.
