I am selling my HK AVR225. It is a 5.1 receiver that is in great condition. Also is in a non-smoking environment

1) 70w x 2, 60w x 5
2) DLP II, Logic 7 and VMAx, Dolby Digital and DTS
3) 6ch direct inputs for external processing, bass mngmt
4) Stereo Direct mode that sends analog signal directly to front L/R speakers
5) No pre-outs or component jacks, also must use ext processing for bass mngmt

It is an excellent receiver for someone looking for a inexpensive way to get into HT or for someone using it as a second receiver. I have the original box, manual, remote, and both AM and FM antennas.

My manual says it's actually rated at 70w x2 and 60w x5.

EDIT 8/2/05: I am asking $165 + shipping or if someone is local, we could arrange for a pick-up/drop-off for $165.

    Damn nice receiver, price is great too. This is a 2002-current model, with a retail of almost $600. You've got 5.1 inputs, so you can use a DVDp with internal decoders and handle the bass mgmt there.

    Someone really should snag it up.

    I live a stone's throw away from RT.78 and the Pa./N.J. border. Quite honestly, I think it would be cheaper just to ship 'er. I'm not very mobile right now...again. PM me your addy and the box dimensions and I'll send ya a shipping quote for fedex ground if that is OK with ya. Also, is a personal check or MO acceptible to ya?

    Now I'm gonna' need a center speaker again also. Good lord I can be an idiot! :o
