    wow, thats insane! do you know how heavy that magnet is out of curiosity, or any of the specs??

    Dont know any of the specs...

    But I do know the subwoofer it goes in weighs 250 or so pounds ;)

    The amplifier in the subwoofer...

    Has a seperate component for the power supply, a seperate part for the circuity (brains), and a seperate part for the controls. Flat out some of the best looking parts for a subwoofer I have ever seen...

    Here is the amp section to the subwoofer...

    Top left is the power supply, bottom left is the brains, bottom right are the controls...

    Oh well, I did a google and the review at soundstage (skimmed through it) talked about with his current speakers this one only played sub 20's...Thats a nice little room (house ) shaker...to have a sub ONLY play 20 and below.

    However, I would take a SVS (or two) at that price range...

    They are definetely over-priced.

    Their HT sub is the Wilson XS... It has Dual 18's

    well if they are in buisness there has to be a market for them. I have yet to experience good bass =(. At home with the fish I have that dayton 10 inch...

    But then i go back to college after the summer is over and bass and dorms don't get along together...
