I Hope the Space Shuttle Launch goes Ok today.

I can't believe it's been two and a half years since Columbia. And I remember watching CHallenger live like it was freaking yesterday. I was 8. That's something I'll never forget.

Anyway Discovery is taking off today at 3:51pm from Cape Canaveral in FLA. It's the first attempted launch since the Columbia disaster- should make for some good Television viewing.

    I had a paper route when Challenger blew up. I can still remember the cover of that day's paper.

    A fault in the shuttle's fuel-tank sensor system forced NASA to call off today's launch of Discovery.

    I hate to bring an air of negativity into this thread, but they haven't landed yet...

    Nonetheless, they're off to a good start. I hope all goes well...I have a 2nd cousin on that shuttle...
