Need some replacement tweeters
I have a pair of RTA 15TL's with the SL3000 tweeters. Can't seem to find replacements anywhere. How about a recommendation?

Got the new tweeters today and put them in right away only to find out that it was a blown channel in the receiver. I had replaced those tweeters a couple of times before so I just assumed that was the problem.
Since I now need a new power source any idea as to what the manufacturer recommended watts per channel would be to drive those RTA 15's?
The previous receiver was a Denon 1025 circa 1990.
Thanks -
I don't remember exactly, something like 250 to 350 wpc. Most likely, you'll never get that much power from a receiver or AVR.
Don't worry about too much power, worry about too little. Also, more important than wpc is current. You want a high current power supply.Political Correctness'.........defined

It's a loaded question, as there are too many suggestions and potential bias in the response.
You would be best served with stating an actual budget, an idea of where you want to go and what you trying to achieve, aside from the obvious.
HT or 2CH? High end or affordable? Separates or All-In-One?...the list is almost endless.
I'm sure these folks will help you find some ideas.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint. -
This is a music system only and I would like to move toward separates. Budget for amp/pre-amp would be 1500 or so. If I could get a couple of high current recommendations I'll start doing the research. Thanks.

One last question:
Do you have any hang-ups with purchasing pre-owned?
If not, with a $1500 budget, you can get a pretty sweet set-up:) ."SOME PEOPLE CALL ME MAURICE,

I would certainly consider it.

Purchased a pre-owned McIntosh MC7100 amp and a Carver C1 preamp. System sounds better than ever. Thanks for the recommendations!
