I'm also taking summer classes this, uhh, summer. I'm a rising senior in high school (that means I'm going to be a senior this coming up school year, right?). I'm taking College Algebra and a computer class; just trying to get some of the required classes out of the way for when I start college. They also count for high school credit. Since I've been homeschooled for the last 10 years, this summer was also going to be a time of transition, too. However, the whole 'classroom scene' hasn't proved to be difficult to get used to in the least.
Anyways, this morning was my last day for math class. It was an 8-week course. I'm gonna brag a lil' now....I want to.....:D ....On the first day, the instructor gave out a diagnostic test (that didn't count). I got everything on it right; he said that was a first ever. The first real test I also aced (105). The next test I made a 102 on. Then a 98. I guess it got pretty tough. The last test was different. It was 18 (pretty hard) word problems involving logs and such. I made a 102 on it, too. I just took the final this morning, so I don't know how that turned out. However, I'm going to swing by there tomorrow to find out.
My computer class is 'basic PC literacy', so it's pretty easy. It's pretty much an introductory course to office. I've actually learned a lot about Excell and Access (and will about Power Point before it's over), but it still isn't an in-depth class. Interesting, though.
Good luck to all the others who are taking summer classes!George Grand wrote: »

Well, I went by the office earlier today to find out how I did in my college algebra class. I made a 97 on the final. That gives me an average of 111 in the class. I think I can live with that!George Grand wrote: »
