Go to Google.com and click on more. Then scroll halfway down and on the first couple of items under Google Tools, you will find Google Earth. Read the instructions and download it.
What is it? Think of it as a flight simulator to the extreme. Everything is real and you can zoom in and out. Change elevation. Blah, blah, blah. Yes, you can even fly over Area 51.
Check it out.
No, I don't work for Google....I wish though.

Got it loaded a couple of days ago. A great tool if you are into hiking, camping, or 4 wheeling.

maps.google.com does something similar if you use the sat. maps. Unfortunately, the shots are a bit out of date (my area is at least 3 years out of date)... but a very cool tool anyway!Brian Knauss

Nasa has had a similar program out for a year or two, called Worldwind. A quick Google search will give it to you.Ludicrous gibs!
