Harman Kardon avr35

hello all, was wondering about the harman kardon avr35, how it would run with my rti70,s would appreciate any comments in general on this hk avr35..

    Has nobody heard of this reciever, im thinking its old....but not that old, is it any good?

    HK makes solid receivers, I just don't know much about that particular AVR, but I would have to assume it will be just fine for the 70s. You'll probably want to add an external amp if it's rated below 50 wpc. The nice thing is that the watts HK claims is very conservative.

    50 HK watts=120 Sony watts that's a guestimate but not too far off.

    That HK is rated at 40w x 5...the Rti70 recommend 20-250w/channel and are 8ohms.

    Since HK rates conservatively, you are ok. Howerver, if you have pre-outs, you might want to add a more powerful amp.

    Thanks, thats the info i was looking for so hooked up with my rear atrium45 rears and csi3 center this reciever is way out rated to run all, because it dont sound that good.....thaks for the replies.
