Would a power amp sporting a single large power supply (toridial) (ATI-1500) or would an amp having 5 power supplies be better (bryston 9B) for clarity, soundstage etc.

You would think 5 smalls would run cooler than 1 large, but I really have no idea. So why did I post this, once again I have no idea!

Individual is always better. You won't get interaction between the channels (noise, interferece, etc.) and the other channels won't be able to rob power from each other.

as long as the power suply has enough power and is good qualty i dont thaik it would matter that much the problem you would have is when you draw curent and your power suply can prduce enough your voltage goes down like in a car when the bass hits your lights dim now when the voltage dims the power output drops I=V/R ohms law and power=I^2R now you crank it up and your amps over draw the power on 1 chanel it can afect the others but if you have seperate ps 1 chanel wont efect the others
