Hey Millerman! Welcome to the forums! First I have some questions for you.
1. Do you like your csi400 enough to want to keep it?
2. What are you driving your speakers with?
3. What kind of sound to you like? (Warm, Neutral, or Bright?)
4. Do you want bookshelf or tower front speakers?
5. Do you listen to music or watch movies more on your system?

thanks for the reply. to answer your questions
1. yes i have been very pleased with csi400.
2.i have an onkyo tx sr 600.
3. i tend to prefer a more neutral natrural sound.
4. as far as for towers or book shelves i'am undesided , i hoped some of you guys could help me with that.
5. very little music almost only movies.Casey

almost all movies? ok.
Yup. The rti-line is the way to go to best match your cs400i (also of the rti-line, just an older model) The rti line is pretty neutral- whereas your r30's and r15's have bright characteristics. You'll get a NOTABLE improvement if neutral sound is what you want.
If your cs400i has 6.5" woofers (i think it does) then you need to look into the rti-6 bookshelf speaker. Since you have a good sub that you're pleased with, then the rti6's are all you'll need. I'm assuming you'll crossover the bass to the sub at 80hz. The rti6's will play lower than that- down to 50hz.
For surrounds, either the rti-4's or fxi3's. If you like direct surround effects- the rti4's are the ticket. If you want a more dispersed surround (like in a theater) i recommend spending the extra money on a pair of fxi3 dipole speakers.
That's about it. -

oh I forgot Millerman. THe tweeter on your csi400 is a tri-laminate tweeter. THe tweeters on the new rti's are silk. Although the RTI's are still the closest timbre match you can get with your older center- they might, however unlikely have different tonal characteristics across the front soundstage. Just keep that in mind.

Hey Millerman,
Are you the same guy who upgraded out of a 770 into Polks over on AVS? If you are , I followed your path.

RTi## line or RT##i would be best (the previous generation ##i if you want to be absolutely sure of tonal match). The 6's are great speakers. DON'T think about the "new" Monitor line unless you want to use towers as the M30's and 40's are a mess: really "tin-y" (as in the metal, as in harsh sound). I think the R15's sound better. The towers are good but may not be worth it compared to either RT generation (both bookshelf and tower). I'm in the bookshelf camp because I have my HT in my bedroom. Someone (wish I could remember who) suggested to me that you find the tower speaker you want and buy the bookself from the next series up."Nothing in this world is accomplished without passion."

The Reference Theater Series is outstanding (RTi)
I currently own the CSi5 and RTi6 and I would recommend them to anybody I know.
The RTi6 is competent for movies, I've run em' on full without a sub watching Star Wars and I was impressed with it.
I have not heard any of the RTi towers extensively, but I do know this, they are strong performers, and any would do well in a system, try and go listen for yourself. -
