legacy audio classic

there is a pair of legacy audio classic speakers available near me. he is asking 650 or BO. pics indicate they are in good shape. seems they cost a ton new and are liked in audioreview. the ones available are mid 80's vintage, but look almost exactly like the new ones. they seem to have an external crossover hardwired to the speaker which is suppoisedly custom made by legacy audio. does anyone have any insight into this?

Schiit SYS Passive Pre. Jolida CD player. Songbird streamer. California Audio Labs Sigma II DAC, DIY 300as1/a1 Ice modules Class D amp. LSi15 with MM842 woofer upgrade, Nordost Blue Heaven and Unity interconnects.

Prometheus Ref. TVC passive pre, SAE A-205 Amp, Wiim pro streamer and Topping E50 DAC, California Audio Labs DX1 CD player, Von Schweikert VR3.5 speakers.

    finally emails me back saying these are pending sale. i dont know what can be pending, ive had the money here waiting 10 minutes from his house for the last 4 days (??)

    I suggested he mark the post as pending sale. I didnt offer more money because if i pay more, i'd rather get a different speaker anyway.
