******** SOLD ********
I've got some gear I need to sell off, I've run out of room and I've simply just outgrown the equipment. These would be great for starting a second home theater or for your kids (Get em' started early I say) I would prefer local pickup, but I will ship. I have all original boxes and accesories. I'll get pics up tonight.
(New Prices are shown)
Items up for sale:
- Pioneer VSX-D412 (Receiver)
$50 + Shipping
This was bought open box, but I have never run into any problems with it.
- MTX MONITOR10 (Tower Speakers)
$100 + Shipping
Bought new
- MTX SW2 (Subwoofer)
$65 + Shipping
Bought new
If you buy it all of them together, I'll throw in my AR 25' sub cable and some speaker cable (Think of it as a starter kit - "Just add source!")
I have never run these suckers hard, I live in a household where silence (of my HT) is golden. PM me or e-mail me at MattRhine@gmail.com, we can work something out.

Aaaaaand here's the pictures...
With a 12" Driver and a 100 Watt amplifier, the MTX SW2 can reach down to 35 Hz, that's pretty much all the specs I've got on this. It's got a few minor scratches, but otherwise, it's in good shape. Hasn't been abused and hasn't seen a ton of play time (1 or 2 movies a week) -
-
-
Next is my towers, these guys have been around, Solid performers, great party speakers.
30 Hz - 20 kHz
8 ohms.
10" woofer, 6-1/2" midrange, and 3/4" tweeter
200 Watts RMS and these suckers are about 3' tall.
Just a few scratches, I beleive there might be some black discoloration on top of one of the speaks, it's not glaring. Also, the vinyl doesn't completely join in the back bottom left corner on one of the speaks, but otherwise they're in great condition. -
-
It's hard to tell, but those are Nickel plated 5-way binding posts.
-
Here's the vinyl not joining, it sounds worse than it is*
*Not the speakers, the mention of damage. -
-
And lastly for the VSX-D412, It's rated for 100 watts x 5 the industry's skewed scale (each channel driven @ 1 kHz) But hey, how many entry level receivers aren't anyways? (That was rhetorical) It puts out a good I beleive around 35-40 watts per channel 20 Hz - 20 kHz all channels driven, and has a decent amount of controls, enough to get a newbie going...

I used to own a pair of these speakers. Awesome clean bass. Great deal.HT/2-channel Rig: Sony 50 LCD TV; Toshiba HD-A2 DVD player; Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro; Rogue Audio M-120 monoblocks (modded); Placette RVC; Emotiva LPA-1 amp; Bada HD-22 tube CDP (modded); VMPS Tower II SE (fronts); DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4CC (center); Wharfedale Opus Tri-Surrounds (rear); and VMPS 215 sub
"God grooves with tubes." -
As you noticed in the previous pic, all accesories are still there, even the original batteries for the remote!

-
Remember, this and generic cables comes free if you buy em' all together.
*whew* I'm done posting pics for now... -
PRICE UPDATE:
I've updated some info (I left some important stuff out) and I dropped prices, I need to get this stuff out of the house asap. -
Shameless Bump.
-
I know it's part of the package, but are you willing to sell the 25 foot cable cheap? Not sure how desperate you are to sell a little cable but worth a shot. If you have a Y cable for hooking up two subs that would be most lovely too...but not listed so another long shot.
Overall looks like a great starter set for a friend of a polkie to get started. I always see people with friends starter systems...bump..
ChrisReceiver: Onkyo TX-SR502-S
DVD Player: Pioneer DV-578A-S
Left and Right: R50
Center: CS1
Rear Center: R15
Surrounds: R30
Subwoofer: 10'' Dayton 100 Watt -
Sorry, I can't spare the cable unless it goes with the system.
New prices, don't make me give these away!
EDIT: I am willing to sell either of these three parts separately, if you buy the Sub, I'll throw in the Sub cable with it, if you buy the speakers, I'll throw the speaker cable in with that. -
