Was at the local CC yesterday...and came accross a product by the Name of "Pure AV".

Supposed to compete with the Monster units. Anyone have any experiences or know of any experiences with these items? Curiosity....

Great cables by Belkin and usually around 30% cheaper than Monster. I steer customers from Monster to Belkin all the time.

I have a contact if you'd like where I can get that unit you linked to for $399.
I got a different model for another Polkie and he said he liked it.
Lemme know, because I'm moving next week and won't (sadly) have access to this place.comment comment comment comment. bitchy. -
Yeah, I got one of the line conditioners from Brett for an install a couple of months ago. It seemed to be a pretty classy unit and if I needed one for myself right now, I'd get one.
BTW, Brett-I've been trying to justify getting myself one or getting one for a future install, but just can't seem to need one right now.
Thanks for the help.

CC had a WEB sale on these units. Picked one up. I'll post a comment on it once its hooked up. Probably another 3-4 weeks when the room is ready.

Went to CC to check 'em out. Not bad at all and seems like a good product.
Also, CC's website says all the Pure AV component style conditioners have an unlimited warranty, whereas the Monster component style units have only 60 months (the highest model only has 24 months)Receiver: harmankardon AVR235

I've got the PF60 and have been happy with its performance. I haven't been able to verify with a Fluke multimeter, but the on screen voltmeter seems to be off. I'm getting generally 125V+... and I'm not in Cali
Anyway... I had my AV equipment hooked up to it and my internet stuff (router, modem) hooked up to a regular surge protection strip... had a lightning bolt hit my apartment building. AV equipment kept running without a hitch, and somehow the surge screwed up my router so it couldn't connect to the modem and had to reload the firmware. Don't exactly know what all of that means, but it seems like the PureAV stuff works well.
Oh, and the final note... it get's rid of any hum you might have due to cable TV. Basically has an isolator if you route the cable through it.Brian Knauss
