Good morning people. Hope you are having a good and safe holiday weekend. Anyways, I have a question---anyone here ever used the Rocket Emotiva LPA-1 amplifier to drive your Lsi 9's or 7's? If so, how did it sound? This amp is rated to handle 4ohm loads all day long. Just curious how the amp did. Also, anyone here ever used the OnixA-60 MKII or the Onix A-120 MKII to drive their Lsi9'or 7's? How did it sound?? These amps are also rated to play 4 ohm loads all day long. Well, thank you for your time. Please feel free to chime in.

That would be rather difficult as the Emotiva isn't on the market yet.

My bad F1. You are right. Seen a review on the Emotiva LPA-1 on the audioholics forum page. Have not really had the chance to read it yet. Did not know it wasn't available yet. But, the Onix A-60MKII and the A-120MKII are both available now. Anybody here ever used either of these to power their Lsi9's or 7's????The way one uses a product is a much more SIGNIFICANT factor than which product(s) he uses.

For the 9's, I would think the Onix 120 would be a nice integrated. It will deliver enough power to let the 9's shine unless your room is overly large.
The Onix line is scewed more toward music fidelity in a 2 channel system than the HT line Emotiva. The Emo would be great for multi channel formats.
Most of the stuff that Mark Schifter has commissioned has been very easily some of the best values on the market in their respective niches. His goal of providing top level value along with great customer service is very similar to the belief that Matt Polk has had since the beginning.HT Optoma HD25 LV on 80" DIY Screen, Anthem MRX 300 Receiver, Pioneer Elite BDP 51FD Polk CS350LS, Polk SDA1C, Polk FX300, Polk RT55, Dual EBS Adire Shiva 320watt tuned to 17hz, ICs-DIY Twisted Prs, Speaker-Raymond Cable

Yeah I agree the 120 would be fine. I still think the Outlaw Audio mono blocks would do them justice as well. At least, not bad for the money anyways. Have a great 4th.The way one uses a product is a much more SIGNIFICANT factor than which product(s) he uses.
