Does anyone know if the DB6500 & DB650 will fint in the door panel of a 2005 Acura TYSX? The speaker size are 6.5 but im not sure if the mouting depths will fit the DB speaker?

Also if i'd like to show them off, is there any thing i can do to the doors? I believe the gills are non-removeable on the 4 door panels.

Well the easiest way would be to build a spacer. Simply get a 1/4" or 1/2" piece of wood and cut out a baffle to mount the speaker to.

While this will take care of the depth issue it raises the speaker outward more and it can hit your door panel so youll have to check.

Go to www.crutchfield.com and use their speaker matching program. Just click on speakers/something/something on the left side, and it'll ask you what car you have. Then look at the speakers that will fit. I'm pretty sure Crutchfield takes mounting depths into account.
