Toshiba 3950 Moded for 2ch playback. Stereophile class D rated transport. Chassis dampened (top cover, inside bottom). Full Vinnie mods / Plus Furutech Gold IEC added
IEC to PCB stock power cable removed & DH Lab power plus 12 awg used. Opamp replaced but not with a single bb OPA2604, I have installed a Brown dog adapter & have installed two BB OPA627 opamps, a noticeable improvement over the single opa2604. The dual opamps add an additional $60 just in parts. Both motors on the drive have been re lubed & run & lubed again. I have added heat sinks to the processors & fuse replaced with a better ceramic fuse. All solder used is WBT silver solder. I found a seller that had a bunch of new 3950 & I purchased what he had. This is one of the last player I have left & want to offer the Polk Club members the first chance. I have had nothing but great advice & help from the forum & want to offer members a great price on a killer player. The player has been playing in our system for a few days burning in & is sounding better & better. Player will be shipped in original box & double boxed for safe shipping. Including remote, owners manual, & cables that came with player. Price at $210 including shipping to the Cont US. Paypal accepted (no additional fees for using PP) or Money order.
