Amping 8 Speakers?

My receiver has 2 sets of ouputs for that are running MM455's and 465's through a 4-channel amp. The sub output is obviously being used for the subwoofer.
I also have a pair of Infinity Reference 5 1/4's that are running off the head unit speaker outputs, and may add 1 additional pair of speakers.
If I decide to juice the Infinitys and perhaps the additional speakers, should I just use a 4-channel amp with speaker level inputs, or is there another way? Will the SQ not be as good using speaker-level inputs?

run all 4 speakers off your 1 4 chanel amp if it is 2 ohm stable

The amp is a JL Audio 300/4 and it is 2 ohm stable, but the Infinitys cannot handle as much power as the Polks. I would not be able to balance them correctly. That's why I'm thinking of a lower power amp with speaker-level inputs for the Infinitys.

If you just want to power to additional speakers. Look for an amp with preamp outputs. That way you can daisy chain your amps. I like the MTX 6 or 8000 series ampsThe guy with $40.00 mains and a $700.00 subwoofer.
