Customized my Athenas (AS-B1, AS-B2) for better look in living room. If I leave them stacked they're about 30" tall. Any suggestions on a sturdy shorter stand? DIY stand?

Eyeing my RTi8's now. Warranties are for sissies!

Cool. It's nice to see creativity being expressed for one's speakers.

    The Athena's look cool.

I would only modify the RTi8's if you have the Black Oak finish. The Cherry is just too gorgeous to touch IMHO.
