I would like to find an all plastic binding post. No metal at all. Has anyone seen anything like this?

It sounds silly at first but what I would like is to run the two wires out of my loudspeaker and thread it through the binding post hole. I would then thread my speaker cable wire through the same holes and tighten the plastic nut to give me a nice crimped connection. This should be the same as having no binding post at all.

Good thought! Too bad they don't have pics on their site. Actually we have a few hobby stores around here with tons of train parts. I'll check into it. I never thought about a hobby shop.
    Thanks!

maybe get some nylon bolts and nuts:

    1. check how much of the bolt will stick out of the speaker cabinet and drill a hole on the bolt.
    2. put hex head of the bolt in the speaker
    3. use one nut on the outside to hold the bolt in place.
    4. place the wires in the hole you drilled, then use a nut to tighten the wires
