Another white van story

Well, rather a tan Suburban.
I was pumping gas and leaning agsinst my truck and this dude came up and asked me "would you want some home audio speakers?"
I asked "what brand"?
"Sound Vision."
"Never heard of them."
So he comes back with "oh theyre one of the top names."
I was just coming from the gym and a 11 hour day at work. I was tired and hungry and getting more and more irritated watching the gas pump reach $30 and keep on going! So I said "no thanks".
"Man these are $400 speakers and theyre like 4 feet tall! I just got back from working a show and have an extra set." (anybody else know of top shelf, floorstanding speakers that only cost $400?)
"No thanks!" {Getting more irritated.}
"Dont you like audio?"
"Very much, but I dont have any money."
"Cant you get some?"
For some reason this really urked me. I was trying to be polite but now Im pissed. So I lean off my truck and take a step toward him and say "No!". My attempts to politely decline were apparantly not working so I figure a litte physical intimidation may have some effect.
It must of worked because he gave up and said "Ok then" and left.
I kinda wish I had messed with him a little as Im sure I know about 3,000,000 times more about audio than he did but being tired and hungry makes it hard for me to be quick witted.
This was actually the first "white van" Ive encountered in many years. Sound Vision. Hmph!
