Looks like someone here is heading to SoCal again this weekend. If those are TL's you got them at a bargain price.

Ain't BIN funny like that sometimes? :D

Were there some 1.2 TL's made where the rear sticker just says 1.2 ?

I'm awaiting the sellers response to find out how he defines them as 1.2tl's. I remember as well that some of the 1.2's were the tl version and didn't get marked that way. Hell if there just the 1.2's it's ok by me. I will have my wall of sound back, but will still seek out some 1.2tl's. Luc are you reading this.....lol.
So what are the differances between the SRS's and the 1.2's?

He inconveniently didn't post pics with the grills off. Both of my 1.2TLs say TL on the serial number....so I'm guessing 1.2's but who knows.
A good price, and with a little TLC could clean up nicely.

    Good job!

My old pair said TL in the serial # as well, so I think Luc is right here and they are just the 1.2's.
Now, given that, can someone tell me the differance between the SRS's and the 1.2's?
Do the 1.2's have differant bracing than the srs's? and is the only differance between the 1.2's and the TL's the tweeters?
    Little help here folks....

    Thanks

besides slight differences in overall height and width dimensions, there are internal bracing differences, and yes, the tweeters, and corresponding crossovers. also the crossover plate will have a different bolt pattern. and the drivers are different also.
so very different speakers the 1.2's and SRS's, but both good.
the SRS's need more power to really sing.

Well I don't know what the fricking issue is, I can't upload a photo for some reason; but I just got a pair of photo's from the seller showing the 3000 tweeters. Looks like I got a pair of TL's. Bummer is no interconnect, but I should be able to find on here or find someone to make me one. hint hint for cable builders!

Hell now it worked.... sorry for the large file everyone

You can fit em' in my house if you want:D How about I send you 50.00, and I'll give the seller the 1500. I can pick them up, locally, and you can save the trouble of coming all the way back down here.....we'll call it a finders fee.....Serioulsy, it looks as if though you hit the jackpot with this. And seriously, I need to get a pocket P.C. so I can check ebay, and this forum every 5 minutes. This is the 3rd set of SRS's that have sold in the past 30 day's in my neighborhood...

    Congrats Brad..

I am pretty stoked, not as cheap as the pair I got last year but hopefully better condition. The picture that looks like an overflash I found out today from the seler is actually some fading. I'll get to see how bad it is on Sunday. Hopefully nothing that can't be remedied.
Now if I could just afford these to drive them...... Ahhhhh what a wonderful hobby.
