    Thanks guys.

Everything went well. It wasn't really an interview. What he did was show me around, talk about things I'd be doing and the products they carry. He said he's trying to get the tube units from Anthem and get into 2ch more. That's awesome. They're currently carrying the solid state units. Speakers they carry are Paradigm, Tannoy, M&K, and Klipsch:D.

Man, that's sweet! Sounds like you got it! Paradigm and Klipsch..hmm...two of my favorite speakers. Anthem tubes, too, eh? That's a pretty awesome place. I've yet to actually see (much less hear) any tubes. :(

Let us know how it goes!

For a warm-up, rent or buy Will Ferrell, best of SNL, vol 2, and watch the interview skit with Pierce Brosnan. Then you will be ready.

Organ, sometime this summer I am due a trip to TO ( which if it was my choice I wouldn't go) but I could swing by maybe I could get Gatemplin to join.

I would agree with Zero, it sounds like you have the job !

Sounds like concratultions are in order again. Don't want to jinx anything for you, but the place looks awesome. It will be nice to get away from big box and into a "real audio and HT store".

Have fun, and don't forget the club discount.

Oh crap. Sorry guys, I didn't make it clear on my previous post. I did get the job. He's calling me on Mon to tell me my hours. I'm working there 3 days a week (part time) because I want to keep my current job at the restaurant.

    Audiobliss,
Don't worry man, it's only a matter of time before your ears get spoiled by tubes. Weren't you looking around for an int a few months back?

    Janmike,
Thanks man. It looks like I'm really going to enjoy it there.

    Shizelbs,
Haven't watched SNL in years. I remember it being pretty funny though.

    Sean,
Thannks. Funny how we were discussing this stuff a few months back about how hard it was to get into these places. I've learned that a kick **** cover letter will get their attention.

    Willow,
That's awesome. A bunch of us Polk freaks just chillin in a store and checking out gear.

    NC,
Actually, I didn't stay in FS for very long. I went back to my old job. For some reason, it was hard to get into the job there and I realised that big retail stores just wasn't my thing. I need something more laid backk and this looks like it. I've shpped at Trutone several times. Bought my Klipsch and AQ Type4 cables there. The service was always excellent.

    Jstas,
I don't think they'll carry Polk. Another shop just a few minutes down the street carries Polk. I got my LSi9 from there. That place is more focused on 2ch.

Man, I seriously hope they get some tube gear in. The other guys are going to crap their pants when they hear tubes with Klipsch. Never had experience with tubed Anthems but I'm sure they sound awesome.

If the employee discount is good, I'm gonna go nuts. Wanna get some RF-7 or La Scala and a Pdigm Servo15.

Well, congrats, man! That's great! A laid back atmosphere, surrounded by (good) audio equipment, talking about audio equipment, getting discounts on audio equipment, listening to audio equipment.....sweet!

I was 'half-heartedly' looking at integrateds. Tubes is the general direction I'd like to go with my set-up, but I won't be taking any more steps in a few years, I'm afraid. I just hafta say...I'm content. :D

    Hope it all goes well!!
