I was attacked by birds today....twice!!

I know....it has "The Birds" written all over it.
On my way to work this morning, I was attacked by birds....twice!! As I crossed the street to the San Francisco Main Library, I hear the guy collecting the returned books and the library janitor talking about birds attacking pedestrians on this particular stretch of the sidewalk, which was lined by trees. After hearing that, I stayed away from the trees and walked close to the building, knowing the birds are probably protecting their nest. Sure enough, the guy walking ahead of me got hit on the head. He turned around quickly but the bird was gone. That's when I got attacked!! I stumbled forward as I got hit from behind. I recovered knowing what exactly hit me. I was thinking that should be it since there was considerable distance separating me and the tree I just walked by. Less than 10 steps later, I got hit from behind again. I quickly walked by the next tree and escaped further attacks.
I am now traumatized and can't concentrate on work....

That's insane. Wonder what pissed them off so much. One of my friends got attacked by pigeons and squirrels one time.

Danny they probably had a nest with eggs or little ones in it nearby they were protecting.
At the pet store where I buy dog food at, they had a reticulated python get missing. It wasn't a huge, giant snake, about 4 feet long. They finally found it after about a week. It wandered into a bird cage with 2 big macaws in it (that was the only bird cage where the bars were big enough for it to get through, and the macaws killed it! They found the snake laying there dead on the cage bottom. -
birds are taking over the world.. ha ha ha.
a few birds here too are pretty protective of their nests.. i don't know of anyone getting hit yet though. one chased me for about a block before it gave up. I went into a building.. and it was waiting for me when i got out of the building. and proceeded to follow me again. strange.PolkFest 2012, who's going>?

I stopped parking under a tree at my parents house 'cause I'd get dumped on almost every morning. Little **** ruined a couple of shirts too.Expert Moron Extraordinaire

Someone suggested I should wear a plastic owl on top of my head to scare away the birds.

I love most animals, but I can't stand birds, other than raptors. I told my wife that if she ever wanted to have a bird as a pet, that if it ever woke me up, it's neck would get wrung and then fed to the cat.:D"SOME PEOPLE CALL ME MAURICE,

Eh, just start swinging. They go down pretty fast with a solid knock to the beak.If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

I wouldn't look out of place amongst the crazy people here in SF.
I have already volunteered myself as a test subject to my friend, who works at the company that makes the flu vaccine. I am hoping they are working on a vaccine for the bird flu. -
I've always had a pretty bad fear of all winged beasties...doesn't matter what, if it flies I'm scared of it...
I once killed a bird because I accidentally punched it when it flew at my head... -

No sooner than I wrote this yesterday afternoon, guess what happened when I got home?
No kidding, but I walked in the kitchen, and there was a freakin' snake sticking it's head straight up out of the sink!
Normally, I'm not really afraid of snakes. The only venomous kind around here we have to worry about are Copperheads (High Land Moccasins) and Cottonmouths (Water Moccasins), and the Cottonmouths don't get very far from water, so that basically leaves just the Copperheads, but seeing a snake in the house scared me for a split second there at first.
I ran outside, grabbed a stick and killed it there in the sink. It was either a Black Snake or a King Snake, about 3 feet long. Normally I won't kill either of those if they are in the yard or something, but when they are in the house they have got to go from here! -

Geeze if I saw a 3 foot snake I'd have to grab my pellet gun or hatchet or something.... biggest snake I've seen outside of an aquarium is like a foot long gardner snake
as for the photoshop thing... you may show your pic to the public every day but this is the perfect reason to keep it off the net (eventually someone will start photoshopping you)
