I could not find in the manual if I can use B to power my tweets. What are the chances this can be done? I was playing with the set up and noticed that B can be set to Off, main or zone 2.

I do not beleive my reeceiver has zone 2 (B) has seperate amps, or maybe it does?

Don't bother. The A and B outputs come from the same amps/power supply. In fact, there is usally a warning about playing both at the same time. There will be no audible benefit. There was a long thread a few months ago with a guy trying to quasi bi-amp his LSi15 by using some of the unused channels in his 7 channel Yamaha receiver. In the end, he couldn't hear any difference.
For rig details, see my profile. Nothing here anymore...

You can do that...but I doubt you will get any benefeit out of doing it. Ive ran both a/b channels off my Yammie recievers for ever. never once had one shut down, get too hot or have any issues. If you want too try..,.nothing really lost but some time.

I run my A's and B's together almost daily on my HK, with a 4 ohm set on the A and a 6 ohm set on the B, and have yet to have a single issue, either.

Assuming the H/K's A&B terminals are wired in parallel (most recievers are) then you are running a 2.4ohm load.
    Setup:
    Adcom GFA-545 amp
    Nad 1600 pre
    Dual 704 TT
    Pioneer 707 R2R
    Pioneer DV-578A Multi-format
    Polk SDA-2 Mains

Yep, and since I don't really crank it up when they're playing together, that might be why it hasn't hurt anything. And it also shows that HK conservatively rates not only their power, but also their stability rating, huh.
