ok people now you know I prefer the sound of the Monitor 40's and will in all lilklihood use them for my fronts what do you think would be better for my center---the Cs1 or the Cs2??? The cs1 uses the same size drivers as the monitor 40's so it would seem to be the preferred choice. Keep in mind that I do not listen to multi-channel music at all. I use my sound system for music (65%) vs home theater (35%). For the rears I will use the Monitor 30's. Please help if you can. Thank you for your time.
Phil
The way one uses a product is a much more SIGNIFICANT factor than which product(s) he uses.

    Very helpful of you, F1.

Phil- If you look on the page for the monitor 40's ( http://www.polkaudio.com/home/products.php?category=4&speaker=373 ) down at the bottom they give you system recommendations. As you can see, both the CS1 and CS2 are on there. I think it just depends on what kinda dinero you're willing to spend. Usually Polk's recommendations are based on timbre matching, so you should be okay with either the CS1 or the CS2

Not at all. I'm just thinking that if I were Phil, I'd be disappointed to see a reply with no helpful information.

BTW- Groundhog Day.... excellent movie :D
