Glue for CRS MW 6503 Magnet?

Bought these CRSs off of the bay and as I was unwrapping them I noticed a clunk in the left channel. The magnet for one of the drivers was stuck on the other.

Can I just glue it back, or should I get a new driver? Type of glue to use?

Thanks in advance.

Yep... tried to glue the magnet on the tweeter of my RT400s after receiving them from "The King of Minimalist Packing". It was a waste of time and I ended up buying a new one. Save the time and aggravation...just buy it.

It CAN be done.....only drawback is it is a massive pain in the arse to do. Go.....and find one on the bay or see if they have any left in stock at polk.

I have 3 Polk brand MW-6500 magnets that are in different work areas in the house to "stick" my tools together, not a 100% total loss :D Really, get a new one, you don't know how many times the damned magnet "bit" my fingers when I tried to glue them "evenly". It is not worth to even try ;)

Thanks Roy, looks like those will do the trick. Thanks to everyone else who replied too, looks like the consensus is to replace instead of trying to re-glue.

Interesting to see that Polk apparently put SDA-CRS labeled drivers also in the SDA 2B.

The Polk spare parts webpage shows the MW 6503 as the Driver and the MW 6511 as the SDA Driver for the SDA 2B. Think the other one in the auction is the MW 6511 (both from one speaker) or the seller combined the two like ones (I know you don't know, just thinking out loud)?

    Tide,

If you buy or bid on those and win, I'd be interested in the other if you don't want/need it. I believe it'll work for my SDA2A's or Mon 10A's. Polk sent me a 6503 to replace a 6500 for the 10A's. That's what they are using to replace the 6500 now. Let me know.

    Thanks
    Noel

I've got no beef with them. It is an auction with a BIN. They wanted them and paid for them. No foul.

The seller has another pair, the 6511s. I don't think those will help me though.

I didn't mean anything by that. Was just joking around.
