Well this morning i met spawndn72 and his father in-law to come pick up the Monitor 7's i posted here and the beatles record.. great guy, me and his Father in-law talked more then we did LOL... he's really cool also, we swapped some stories and interests, gave Todd a sda demo on the Dodd elp... and i think he enjoyed them.. then it was off to demo the HT and SVS, well for one after that demo i think his father in-law is ready to buy one.. popped my homemade bass demo disk in and after about 3 or 4 clips he was loveing it.. Its always nice to see someone like what you have and your setup after all the hard work we all put into this hobby... It was a short visit but would have Todd over anytime... I demo'd the 7's before he took possesion and was pleased as well... Enjoy the speakers and come back anytime bud, next time will have to be for a cold one and some BBQ
enjoy the speakers,
enjoy the speakers,

I had a similar experience a few days ago, although not with a Polkie. A guy came to buy my speakers from me and I gave him a demo of my Jolida int. amp. He thought my demo CD was an SACD, but it standard redbook. A couple hours later he's e-mailing me and asking my opinion on some Jolida tube amps he found on audiogon.HT/2-channel Rig: Sony 50 LCD TV; Toshiba HD-A2 DVD player; Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro; Rogue Audio M-120 monoblocks (modded); Placette RVC; Emotiva LPA-1 amp; Bada HD-22 tube CDP (modded); VMPS Tower II SE (fronts); DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4CC (center); Wharfedale Opus Tri-Surrounds (rear); and VMPS 215 sub

Probably took a pretty big comb to get that crab out.

Yep, had a good time this morning, and I am loving the new speakers. The upgraded tweeters sound great. Much more laid back, which I like. My father in law liked the old monitor 7's better so he bought my old ones from me. lol. So I converted him over to polks. (at least as a second speaker) I don't think he is going to give up his JBL L-65's anytime soon.
The SDA's sounded great. I need to make sure I have the cash reserves next time a pair come up localy.
The SVS is incredible. It is really cool when you can't hear anything but the whole house is shaking from the LOW bass.
Thanks for having us over and putting up with us. And tell your wife thanks for not kicking us out too soon.Setup:
