i grew up in that area and wouldn't go back there even if they gave me an F1 car. (maybe if it included a driver...say ...Danica Patrick);)

I'm not originally from here, my wife is. I'm a Tennessee transplant. Would like nothing more than to move back down south, but can't anytime soon.:( :(

I was there for the F1 race in 2000, had a great time and plan on going back, but not this year.

BTW, Ms. Patrick doesn't drive a F1 car, just those wimping Indy cars.

I didn't want to point that out, I figured someone else would do it for me. She'd probably do well in F1, also. Don't be surprised if she moves up in the next few years. That's her dream. If you do decide to make it over, I can usually get free tickets, sometimes suites. Last year Chrysler was the major sponsor, since I sell Dodge, freebies.:D :D

I wish I could go and see Kimi kick it!

Another interesting question is whether Red Bull Racing will put Scott Speed (an American) into the Indy race this year. He was faster than Klien and Coulthard in Fridays practice session in Canada.

ND13, from where in TN do you come from? My Mom lives in Knoxville.

I lived in Memphis for 13 years and Nashville for 11. I graduated HS from Mt Juliet and went to college at Tenn Tech and Middle Tenn State. Damn, I miss the South.:( :(

Maybe, after the kids grow up, we'll be able to move back.

I highly doubt it. She has done nothing in her career to deserve a F1 ride and F1 doesn't need the publicity IRL is after by getting a cute female driver. If she gathers enough sponsor money (which is possible) she might get a ride from one of the bottom feeders like Minardi. But the question is does she want to risk a chance to make a career in IRL or another NA racing league for a short stint in F1? Jeff Gordon might get a ride in F1 but he is better off as a big fish in a small pond rather than a small fish in the big pond.

No USGP for me this year either, I was hoping I could go to Montreal (last time I went there for the GP was in '95). TV this time as well, hoping KR's Mac holds up and he gets another win.
