fxi30 hieght ?
I have read that the fxi30's should be about 3ft higher than listeners ears but also others in the avsforum that own other speakers say to have the tweeter close as possible to ear level. I just wanted to know the best way for these speakers? I am getting ready to move my room around and wanted to find out before i make holes in wall. Also do the fxi30's work well on the wall behind couch if the couch is a couple feet from the wall? Or would the polk monitor 30's be better? Thanks!

I have my fxi30's 3 feet above ear level and it sounds good. Although if I were to do it again I would lower them 1 foot. My couch is against the wall and the 30's do a better job in that position than direct reflecting speaks IMO. As far as height goes, try different levels and see which one you like best.;)Everytime I think I'm out, THEY PULL ME BACK IN!!!!!!

i was just wondering do the fxi30's have the tri-lam tweeter or the silk tweeter that are used in the present rti speakers?
