typically the antenna's are 20 or so feet long. Depends on your area of the country as to what way it should face. Check XM's website for details.
Edit - I obviously read it wrong.Never kick a fresh **** on a hot day.

Ha! You must be reading my mind or something. I need to all the above also. Going to do the xover first. I can live with the tweets for now. I have to do something about my polyswitches, soon, or I think I'll go nuts."SOME PEOPLE CALL ME MAURICE,

The tube pre is a want, the xover is a must, and the tweets are somewhere in the middle. As far as the tube pre, what are you considering? I really like the looks and the feedback of the CPer's that own one, of the Dodd ELP. Although I have a line on a Conrad Johnson Tube pre and amp, that an acquaintance of mine picked up at an estate sale. He has yet to get me the model #'s of them, yet. I think I'll be able to get them on the cheap, because I know what he paid for them. He repairs/refurbishes all kinds of audio gear. I picked up my Mon 10A's from him and am going by there tonight to pick up a Crown amp he just picked up, to give it a try thru the HK pre outs. He bought a bunch of them at an auction. He said they were used at the RCA dome. They're supposed to be 200 wpc and he swears by them. Might be able to get one or two real cheap. The Dodd would probably help them out alot."SOME PEOPLE CALL ME MAURICE,

i'm considering the dodd, the ming da i think the model # is 3a, the dared 2000, the dynaco pas4 looks nice, so far that's it. my price point is below $500. the ming da looks the coolest.

The ming da looks nice also, just don't get one from that seller fron Kong Kong. He doesn't always deliver from what I've read. Just a heads up if you didn't already know."SOME PEOPLE CALL ME MAURICE,

yeah, i caught his ebay feedback...sometimes they show up from sellers from our continent.;)
further down the road/list, i'll probably get an adcom 555 2, or 545 2 power amp..100 vs. 200 wpc....small room...hmm
now, i've got a sweet marantz 2270...when i get the tube pre, i can unplug the pre/amp jumper and plug the pre right into the amp input...should be fine till the bug to upgrade gets unbearable again.
