Just stumbled on the review of the the LSi's in the forthcoming edition of The Absolute Sound at www.avguide.com
Here are some highlights of the review written by Anthony H. Cordesman:
"....the LSi-15 has an extraordinary mix of treble and midrange performance for the price. The upper octaves are among the smoothest and most detailed at all levels of dynamics that I have heard; they certainly outperform most speakers costing more than twice as much."
"What you need to understand is that the tweeter in the LSi-15 is superb and much more than a run-of-the-mill improvement."
"...the bass had more energy and extension than tightness and control, and the LSi-15 sounds a bit warm."
"....the new Polk LSi series provides exceptional value for money and ....the LSi-15 is a speaker any music-lover with a real-world budget should consider."
The avguide.com website charges $3 to download the article in PDF format. However, since I "took one for the team", I'd be glad to e-mail a copy to any interested Polkies out there.

And let me tell you, they are not exaggurating. These puppies sound like smooth honey...or something. Seriously, I love sitting and listening to any of the LSi series whenever I get the chance.
Lunch break, 15min break, other 15min break, post lunch pre15min break.
Oh yeah, find them, listen to them, love them...that's my motto for these babies.Testing

Umm, if I find my LSi9's sprouting hair, I'm coming for you Dave!
I love listening to my 9s as well, popped in some Mono - Formica Blues last night and it was a great listening experience! Doesn't get much better than that for the $$

It makes me grin with great glee to hear that our loyal fans are both able to get their hands on these and that you are liking the experience.Testing

I need to here these! I just herd the new RT seris. BAD! I'm not sure why. I heard some 20 year old polks, they were nice.
The LSI seris looks awsome. With all the good things being siad about them, I NEED to have a liston!
