well, I use to have two polk momo 12's In an iso push pull bandpass configuration and it was seriously LOUD and AWESOME!! But of course, someone wanted it more than I apparently did so now I am stuck rebuilding my system. Currently I have all polk audio DB speakers im my car but couldnt afford the woofers. As if turns out someone gave me two MTX 8" woofers in a box, the problem is they are not punchy enough!! So I would like to fool around with them and make an iso baric bandpass box... Would anybody be able to help me out with the plans?

This is a link to the woofer PDF file:

Thanks in advance!!!!

The first is WinISD Pro, an excellent program. If you choose to use it, be aware that it is very versatile and very powerful, but that it comes with a learning curve roughly equivalent to Mount Everest. Read the manual, look around, and have fun.

The second is a much more intuitive program called UniBox, and it will provide good information, though with less detail. Its learning curve, assuming you know a bit about the technical side of box-building, is pretty shallow - perhaps the Appalachian foothills in comparison.

Neither will give you a box design, but they will give you the appropriate NET internal volumes... be very sure to follow these volumes when you've finalised your design, as bandpass boxes are very alignment-sensitive. That means, make sure you calculate the port volumes correctly and add them into the total volume for a given chamber. Ditto for the driver.

yep, the speaker itself makes a difference in bandpass boxes, too... and why is your handle 'jesus'?
