Hey, Im interested in replacing my car speakers in my 1992 Plymouth Acclaim. I know, it sounds like a dying effort, however, I love it. Im 19 and attending Millersville University in Pa. My four door speakers are blown and Id like to put in a head unit and 4 speakers including subwoofers. Do they make head units that also take upc plugins for Mp3 players? Any advice on what to get/ where to get it??? Any advice would be appreciated.

quit being retarded...
zach - many headunits come with auxiliary inputs, some with a mini-input (standard headphone jack). take a look at www.pioneerelectronics.com, www.kenwoodusa.com, and www.alpine.com and see if you can't find one in your price range.
for speakers, we always reccommend no rear speakers, because fronts-only provides better sound quality, but including rears will give you a bit more volume (at the price of more amplification, of course). what's your budget, we'll be able to help more knowing that? It's not good, very fundamentally simply not good. - geolemon

Hell, most CD players now play MP3's themselves. Although I dont understand why anybody would want to. Why listen to a sub standard audio source when you could be listening to CD's?polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005
