Suggestions on a new pair of Dipole / Bipole surrounds
Currently I'm running a pair of RT55s and a CS400 up front and a pair of inwall AB755s for surrounds.
I like to replace the 755s with a pair of bipole/dipole surrounds and then use one of the inwalls to place in the ceiling for a 6th channel.
What would be the best pair of bipole/dipoles to get that would match my current rigs line-up? Should I hunt ebay for an old pair of Polks or would a pair of the newer line work?

Lsifx is a totally different speaker from what ive read, a pair of the fx300i's would match, or 500i's or Non " I" versions would also match.. id search e-bay, in the end i doubt you will hear a difference from your line and the next line up ie: fxi30/fxi50's which would also match closer then the newest lineMY HT RIG:

Ron I have RT55 with CS400i center and RT35i and RT25i surrounds, and to me it seems to blend seamlessly. Any i series should match you OK. -
Thanks guys. I due like the inwalls but I think the f/x style might give me a better enveloping sound field for my small room.
Nice find there Faster. Tempting to say the least.If...

well the second link is for white fx300's which would be perfect, however zero feedback seller and who knows what they will sell for, id say 175 - 225 to guess out loud.MY HT RIG:

I noticed that as well, plus, they are white I need black.
I had a pair of those at one time, way back when they first came out, great surround speaker.
I'm still very tempted to buy that sub / inwall package and sell the sub and build my own surrounds useing those 4 AB755s. That is a great deal for only $450.If...

If you don't listen to music in surround mode, then don't worry too much about timbre matching for the rears. You'll have a lot more choices.HT/2-channel Rig: Sony 50 LCD TV; Toshiba HD-A2 DVD player; Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro; Rogue Audio M-120 monoblocks (modded); Placette RVC; Emotiva LPA-1 amp; Bada HD-22 tube CDP (modded); VMPS Tower II SE (fronts); DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4CC (center); Wharfedale Opus Tri-Surrounds (rear); and VMPS 215 sub

Early, I do, from time to time, listen to 5.1 sound tracks so I'd like to try and timber match as close as possible.If...

Well, I threw a bid of $150 at that AB755 / sub package. Under the reserve but no other bids and it ends in 12 hours. I'll keep an eye on it and see what happens.
Here's what I am thinking. If I get those AB755s I can build boxes just like those of the LSiFX's and mount a 755 on each side. My only question would be how to wire them up using only 1 Adcom 535 amp.
Any opinions on doing this? Would it work?If...
