Gang,

any thoughts, feedback, comments on Dali speaks, in general, and/or Euphonia series, specifically?

I got an offer from a friend of the MS4, with the claim that it is one of the best sounding speaks from Denmark, even better than a Dynaudio Temptations.

I am seriously considering it to upgrade my 2 channel, and have 15 goes back to HT duty.

TIA
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

From a very limited exposure to some Dali's I'd have to say there was something that didn't sit right with me. It may have been the gear and/or the room, not sure, but neither Blue or BDT liked them either.

The only experience I have with Dali, is the Megaline. They're ok. Not my cup of tea - but some people really dig em.

Here's a review from a friend of mine, Albert Porter. As noted, the sound has changed substantially after about 500hrs of use. I think a lot of people don't even give some speakers enough time to break in - it CAN take that long.

thanks guys! beautiful craftmanship, though, attention to details is second to none.

Russ, thanks for the link! good reading.

edit: sheath, there is NO way in this lifetime that I will ever find a time and place to burn in speak at 100dB for 6 hours!

Sounds like a very HIGH maintenance speak to me, gotta wait for a used one with at least a couple years with heavy used at time. Funny, reading the article that Russ linked, made me think that one need to abuse a Dali (with clean power) to get a performance out of her.
