OK, my digital camera broke shortly after I got my SDA-SRS's. I've finally managed to get a new camera and take some shots. Here they are. Observations/advice appreciated (but please no attacks from the people who couldn't wait to jump down my throat the last time I posted here):

    Dude,

    I can't see them yet. I don't think it's my computer, either.

Oh there they are, must have had a slow connection, sorry.

Others here had suggested close-ups, so that's why I only took the one wide shot of both together, and the rest close-ups.

Can anyone tell me if they are TL's or not? The manual had an addendum attached for TL owners. Someone suggested that a close-up pic of the tweeters would reveal the answer, which is why I took those.

    Thanks.

    OK
My neck is getting sore looking at your pics. Look where the serial # is it will say 1.2 or 1.2tl You need to resize your pics. By the way it doesn't look like they are in the set for your pleasure or are you selling? Again??

I didn't resize the pics on purpose - but I should have rotated them, at least. I left them large because others told me that close-ups of the tweeters would reveal whether or not they were TL's - and that it was not always on the S/N sticker. Can you tell from the tweeters if they are TL's or not?

They aren't hooked up yet, but I'm not selling them. Long story short, my grandparents passed away and these belonged to them. I was contemplating selling them because I live in an apartment in Manhattan and I don't have a lot of room. When I posted here asking for advice on pricing though, I got yelled at by a couple of board members who were being judgemental and automatically inferred that I was nothing but a money hungry grub who cared nothing for the sentimental value of objects that were owned by my grandparents. How they could jump to that conclusion without having any information on the matter other than the fact that I asked for pricing, go figure. These same people who were so quick to judge me also chided their fellow board members for giving me accurate pricing information, telling them that instead they should have low-balled me so that someone could have got them cheap at my expense. "Hello, Pot? This is Kettle speaking here, did you know that you're black?"

Anyway, I was just curious about the pricing and, even though I could get well over $1000, maybe closer to $1500, for the pair, I decided to keep them for several reasons, including sentimentality as well as the fact that getting speakers of this quality these days is apparently difficult. The biggest challenge was just getting them in to the city and rearranging my apartment to accomodate their massive footprint. I do plan to hook them up as soon as I can educate myself on what would be good components for them (my GP's stereo components were top-o-the-line Yamaha's, but now their outdated, except maybe for the 55w amp).

Thanks for the advice on the TL identification.
