I was wondering how the rocket series by onix compare the the lsi series? I have seen a couple of folks from this site on av123's site... Would it be an accurate statement to say that since av123 is an online site and polks are sold through other means makes the former a better value? I mean one could factor the made in china label on the onix products but their rs 750 model costs the same as a polk lsi 15... Anyone compare the two?

Don't they use the same tweeters as the LSi series? I may be wrong, but I seem to remember someone here used a rocket center channel speaker with their LSi set up instead of a Polk LSi center.

Same tweeter, vifa xt-25. The high end onix reference 3 uses a ribbon tweeter and the vifa. I don't feel that would be a fair to compare the lsi-15 and that model as it is three times the price. But I have also read that it is the crossovers that have a great deal to do with overall sound. No doubt the lsi and the rockets use different crossovers..

I've also heard of people using the Onix center because it has a better stance over the LSIC. I haven't tried it though.
