Hallo,
newbi to all of this....
just set up my new RTi12's front and HT.
any hints on how far they have to be from the wall.....my HT room is huge...42 x 38. seating area about 20' from main front speakers, and the center.
At the moment there are 2' from the back wall.
any hints would be great.
thanks.

Generally, the farther they are from the back wall, the better your soundstaging/imaging will be; the closer they are, the more bass will be enhanced.
Experiment and enjoy, you've got a huge room to play with.Source: Bluesound Node 2i - Preamp/DAC: Benchmark DAC2 DX - Amp: Parasound Halo A21 - Speakers: MartinLogan Motion 60XTi - Shop Rig: Yamaha A-S501 Integrated - Shop Spkrs: Elac Debut 2.0 B5.2 -
i think with the 2feet of breathing room that they already have i dont think moving them out any further will yield any better or worse results.

I'd say 1.5-2 ft. should be good but that's something you should really play around with. Also, toe them in if you listen to a lot of music. Play around... that's the beauty of audio. The slightest thing will greatly affect the sound. Have fun!!Never kick a fresh **** on a hot day.
