I can only go with a recommendation for the MB Quart QSD-216's. I am biased, however, as they are in my car. I bought them on ebay for about 500....which in comparison to the retailers, (about 1100.00) was a steal IMO. I have an older MB Quart set, (circa 97') in my other car, and they still sound great.

I got my QSD's authorized for $550.. :cool: So i'm gonna be partial to those as well, I've heard some great things about Diamond Hex series, and we all know the new Polk's should kick ****. A lot of what you buy, is and should be based on personal preferance.

Now before I get bashed about this next recommendation, let me tell you that I have all JL Audio equipment in my wifes car, and since I then ran out of money I went with a less expensive set up in my car. I found this manufacturer (Clif Design) and since then have purchased amps, not only for myself, but have installed them in many others cars/trucks as well, and they sound great..and are a lot less than the JL Audio amps.

Ive not heard the Sig's yet but judging by the LSi series of home speakers, I can say without hesitation, wait for the new Polks.

agreed, wait till you can listen to all of them, because once you start spending this much, it's all about flavor, rather than an absolute best (such as the mm2124 being better than alpine's type-e 12 in every way).

and for the love of bob, please do not refer to 1000 dollar speakers as "****".

God, I couldnt imagine having $1000 speakers in my truck. Id be afraid to ever drive it! Id sleep in it just to make sure nobody ripped me off!

THERE ARE NO BEST SPEAKERS anywhere...
it's all personal pref. and flavor like said before... there is simply no best... there is no way to for one too gauge what is the best for each individual in this industry...
