Anyone ever hear of the A50k amp and F500 tuner from HK? I believe the A50k is the kit version of the A500 amp. Any word on quality and value of this stuff? Worth getting?

No replies? I have a lead on this equipment for $100 in working order with missing tops. It sounds like a heck of a deal to get into tube gear reasonably.

Comments, anyone? I am looking for some positive reinforcement before I pull the trigger. I believe the correct model # for the amp is A-500. I have read the A-300 are somewhat regarded and collectable. Does the A-500 follow the same philosophy?

I hate to be an audio hog, but I think I will make the plunge. I will have some adcome seperates for sale soon if this works out though...:D
