PM or e-mail Kenneth Swauger here on the board. I'll bet my bottom dollar he could at least point you in the right direction.

They are a trilaminate domes. Not sure of the part number, but the tweeters were the same in the RT55, RT600, RT800, RT1000 and RT2000 (regardless of whether they are "i" or "p" series).

According to previous posts here, the trilaminates are no longer available from Polk, but they have a replacement made with a silk dome. The sound is slightly different to a critical listener, so you may want to change out both in the set. Sometimes you can find the originals on Ebay.
For rig details, see my profile. Nothing here anymore...

the part number is bdo123- 6502.i bought one off ebay for $5. unfortinately i had to use it. if i am not mistaken just the dome is different and you can reuse the old dome if it isnt damaged. the tweeter just twists on the back. call ken in cs and ask him if it will work. or look for a single speaker that is damaged and use it for parts. good luck

    Help!!!
Bought a used set of RT800's, they sound terrible! When I hoooked up just the tweeters, they sounded like an old transistor radio. When I hook both sets of leads the speakers sound muddy with vocals lost behind the music.

    Anybody got any ideas?
